Okay...so it's been 4 months since I last wrote. I'm happy to say I haven't gained a ton of weight back and I'm pretty happy with myself. I've been ranging between 155-158 pounds (depending how much I pig out). I feel good about myself (except for my big butt still), but am finding myself falling back into old habits. I plan to start back on track tomorrow, mostly with exercize and following a sensible diet, but not being crazy about it.
I had surgery on April 6th to remove a large fibroid. I was out of commission for two months to recover. I was so afraid I'd gain a ton of weight, but I actually ended my recovery at my lightest, 153 pounds. I did reach 151 once after puking my guts out as a result of a bad reaction to pain medication two days afte the surgery. However, I gained that back and for the past couple of weeks haven't been watching what I've been eating. In fact, this past week has been really bad. In fact, I had Taco Bell on Thursday night and McDonald's on Friday. Jared and I went camping Friday and Saturday and ate too much: hot dogs, S'mores, beans, cheese & crackers, sausage, bacon, etc. So....needless to say, I need to get back on track. I have been working out a bit. I started running around town again, which I really do enjoy once I get myself going. It's just getting myself out the door that's the proboem. I bought some cute running clothes that does make me feel better about myself. I did pay for the gym this month and plan to use it. I like the different machines, plus I'll need it on rainy or too hot days.
So...here's the plan. I'm going to have one final S'more tonight and then get on track tomorrow. I'll hopefully go running if the weather's nice or I'll go to the gym. Plus, I'll go to Stop & Shop and get my salad stuff. I'm not going to do Nutrisystem, although I'd like to. It's just too expensive. So...I'm hoping by writing my blog again will help me to get the motivation I did last time. We'll see how tomorrow goes!
